FrontStep Delivery was built in Richmond, for Richmond — to make getting your groceries and everyday essentials genuinely easy, without the fees, the faceless apps, or the trip you don't have time for.
Where it began
We kept hearing the same thing from neighbors: getting groceries home had become a chore that ate the whole evening.
Curbside pickup still meant loading the kids in the car, driving across town, and waiting in a numbered spot. The big delivery apps promised convenience but delivered surprise fees, rotating shoppers, and a chatbot when something went wrong. Plenty of people were stuck in the middle — too busy, too far, or simply unable to make the trip — with no option that felt local or personal.
FrontStep started to fill exactly that gap. Not a cheaper copy of a big app, and not another store's add-on service, but a dependable local neighbor who shops your list, keeps you in the loop, and carries it right to your front step. We're not really selling groceries — we're selling back your time, and the trust that it'll be handled right.
